The surgical week came to a successful conclusion on 18 March with participants from Switzerland and Germany. The focus was on hip revisions. Key factors for a successful hip revision are preoperative planning and the determination of the surgical strategy, the selection of suitable revision implants, the safe handling of the implants and the correct implantation technique.

Under the guidance of instructors PD Dr Thomas Randau (Head of the Department of Orthopaedics and Orthopaedic Surgery, Cellitinnen-Severinsklösterchen, Hospital Augustinerinnen, Cologne) and PD Dr Sebastian Scheidt (Senior Consultant, Department of Trauma Surgery, Bonn University Hospital), the participants practised the implantation of the MRS-TITAN Standard/Maximum and MRS-TITAN Comfort revision cups, as well as the MRP-TITAN revision stem, on human cadavers.
