The combination of experience and innovation
Acetabular defects are predominantly located in the central and cranial regions. The design of the MRS-TITAN Standard and Maximum cups is tailored to these defects in the bone bed.
- Combination of anatomically correct alignment of the cup with
the centre of rotation + bone defect
The system, with its various sizes and implant versions (with and without anatomical strap), offers a high degree of flexibility in providing adequate solutions for acetabular defect management. (1)
The trabecular surface structure has been developed on the basis of the latest scientific knowledge to ensure the best possible load-bearing stability for patients.
Geriatric Traumatology
The MRS-TITAN Maximum may be a good alternative for acetabular fractures in geriatric patients. Clinical experiences show that this implant provides a load-bearing stable revision, thereby enabling rapid mobilisation. (2,3,5)
A shorter hospital stay and early mobilisation reduce the risk of poor functional outcomes, postoperative complications and mortality in this vulnerable patient group. (4)
Implant selection within the system for the best possible results
For optimal reconstruction, we recommend selecting components from within the range of prosthetic systems we offer. The products are perfectly coordinated with one another.
The MRS-TITAN Standard and Maximum, in combination with the modular revision prosthesis MRP-TITAN, offer a wide range of options for patient-specific solutions to a variety of anatomical requirements and challenging defect situations.
